20 Ways To Increase Your Traffic And Sales Using Free Follow-Up Autoresponder Courses

An autoresponder course is a group of articles or information set up to be sent out separately over a set period of time by e-mail. People just e-mail your autoresponder to receive the free course and it is sent out automatically over time. You can find free follow-up autoresponders to use by typing it into any search engine. Below are ten ways to use them to increase your traffic and sales.

1. Offer your course as a free bonus for purchasing one of your main products or services. People will buy your products quicker when you offer a bonus.

2. When you write and give away a free course you will become known as an expert. This'll gain people's trust and they will buy your main product quicker.

3. Allow others to add your free course to their own product packages. Their customers will see your ad when they purchase.

4. People love to get freebies. A free autoresponder course is perfect. They will visit your web site to get the free valuable information.

5. Allow people to receive your course for free, if they give you the e-mail addresses of 3 to 5 friends or associates that would be interested.

6. Allow other people to give away your free course. This will increase the number of people that will see your ad in the course.

7. You could trade advertising space in your course for other forms of advertising. It could be banner ads, e-zine ads, web site ads, etc.

8. Gain new leads by having people sign up and give you their contact info before they can receive your autoresponder course.

9. Give away the autoresponder course as a free gift to your current customers as a way of letting them know you appreciate their business.

10. Give away the course to people that join your affiliate program. This will increase the number of people that sign-up.

11. Make money selling advertising space in your course. You could charge for small classified ads or sponsor ads.

12. Get free advertising by submitting your course to freebie web sites. This will increase the number of people that will see your ads in the course.

13. Make money by selling the reprint rights to those people that would like to sell the course. You could make more money by selling the master rights.

14. Hold a contest on your web site so people could win your course. You will get free advertising when you submit your contest to free contest directories.

15. You'll gain valuable referrals from people telling others about your course. Word of mouth advertising can be very effective.

16. Make money cross promoting your course with other people's products or services. This technique will double your marketing effort

17. Increase your e-zine subscribers by giving your course to people that subscribe to your e-zine. This'll give people an incentive to subscribe.

18. Allow your affiliates to use the free course as a promotional tool for your product. Each lesson could include their affiliate link.

19. Promote other businesses affiliate programs you join with your free autoresponder course. Include a different affiliate link on each lesson.

20. Advertise a different product or service on each lesson. If you only have one, use different emotional response ads on each lesson. —-

Franchise businesses such as Wendy's, McDonald's and Jack-In-The-Box are booming. The people setting up franchise ideas and businesses know a good thing, and are really promoting this idea. Franchises for just about every conceivable kind of business are being sold in ever increasing numbers.

Some franchises are very good. They treat both the franchisor and the franchisee very well. Others are very one-sided. Still others are almost total rip-offs that trap one into paying ten to fifty times the actual value of the business idea, equipment, or whatever it is they are trying to get you to buy.

Before putting any money into a franchise, you should investigate everything completely. We've prepared a list of questions you should be asking, and should get satisfactory answers to before investing.

1. Has your attorney studied the franchise contract, discussed it completely with you, and do you both approve it without reservations?

2. Does the franchise require you to take any steps which are either illegal or even border on illegal, or are otherwise questionable or unwise in your state, county or city?

3. Does the franchise give you an exclusive territory for the length of the franchise period, or can the franchisor sell a second franchise in your territory?

4. is the franchisor connected in any way with any other franchise company handling similar products or services?

5. If you answered yes to the above questions, what is your protection against the second franchising company?

6. Under what circumstances can you end the franchise contract, and at what cost to you?

If you sell your franchise, will you be compensated for your goodwill or will it be lost to you?

8. How many years has the firm been offering you the franchise been in operation?

9. Does the company offering you this franchise have a reputation for honesty and fair dealing among its franchisees?

10. Has the franchisor shown any certified figures indicating exact net profits of one or more of its members, and have you personally checked the figures with these people?

11. Will the franchisor assist you with: a) A management training program; b) An employee training program; c) A public relations and advertising program; d) Capital; e) Credit; f) Merchandising ideas?

12. If needed, will the franchisor assist you in finding a suitable location?

13. Is the franchising firm adequately financed so that it can carry out its sated plans?

14. Does the franchisor have experienced management, trained in depth?

15. Exactly what can the franchisor do for you that you cannot do for yourself? 16. Has the franchisor investigated you carefully enough to assure itself that you can successfully operate a profit to both of you?

17. Does your state have a law regulating the sale franchises, and has the franchisor complied with that law to your satisfaction?

18. How much equity capital will you need to purchase the franchise and operate it until your income equals your expenses?

If you can get the answers to each of these questions, and those answers satisfy you, then you're probably thinking about buying a pretty good franchise deal. However, if you're in doubt about any of these points, be sure to check it out and know the answers for certain before you invest or sign anything.

Buying a franchise can give you a measure of security, and in some cases, sure-fire profits. Business surveys show that fewer than 20 percent of all franchised businesses fail. This is in comparison to a 60 to 80 percent failure rate for ALL new businesses started in this country each year.

Information regarding specific franchising ideas can be found in the franchising directories, which are generally available at the local library. Often there will be a notice posted in franchise outlets themselves.

If you can afford the entry into this business, statistics are on your side. You are now armed with some CAUTION and STOP and GO signs!

by Stu McLaren

You can use your eBook for much more than just a stand-alone product. One of the possibilities is using it as a free bonus to accompany one of your products or services. When your selling an affiliate product you could use your eBook as a bonus to the package.

In marketing, we all know that including bonuses and loading on bonuses is a huge, huge incentive for people to buy certain products or services. In fact, it is not uncommon to buy a particular product just for the bonuses themselves.

When you create an eBook, you are not only creating another product, but another bonus you can include with your other products. This is something you should always ask yourself - how can you build up your packages and add value? An eBook is definitely a step in the right direction. It is not only going to be a valuable resource but will also increase the value of your packages.

When I am putting together packages, the value comes from the price point that each of the products or services would be if sold separate from themselves.

Let me give a quick reasoning for that because there's so many times I go on a website and I'll see somebody offering a product, and they've got all these bonuses, then they just slap a value on there like $297 for this particular bonus.

I'm sitting there thinking, "I would never pay $297 just for that bonus." That's the way I want you to think. I want you to think: How much would I pay just for this bonus by itself, nothing else? Because whatever that value is, that is the true value of that bonus. Not by what you slap a value on there on a website. That doesn't establish value.

Make sure that the price you put for that particular bonus is what the market would actually pay for it and not just what you would hope they would. This is very important because when people come to your website they will calculate how much they would pay for it, so then your package looses tremendous value in their eyes if your prices are off.

Creating an eBook gives you the opportunity to include a valuable bonus with your other products and services.

You can take this bonus one step further by actually including the resell rights to your eBook as a bonus.

I'll use my own business as another example, only because I know my business so well. Creativity is what I talk a lot on, so I would be interested in possibly purchasing the reprint or resell rights of someone else's products on creativity.

Take a second and think about why I might be interested in that? Bluntly putting it, it will save me a ton of time. He or she may have created great content that I would be able to use that is related to the topic I talk about. Why would I go through the trouble of doing it myself when I could partner up and create a win-win situation for both of us.

This gives them a chance to leverage their material, and I am able to use the content. You too can use this same principle for your business.

Other businesses and services are going to be interested in the content of your eBook for their particular customer base or email list.

Just like that you have now created a platform to offer the reprint or resell rights as a bonus to those people who are interested in providing or selling your eBook to their customers.

You have now just increased the value of the bonus.

You can easily increase the value of a bonus to an affiliate promotion or your own product by just following these steps.

May ideas come to you when you need them the most.

by Derek Gehl

You need drive and enthusiasm to start your own online business… but you also need to know what you're doing! When you start an Internet business, all the excitement you feel can make you want to jump in headfirst without testing the water.

Don't jump!

Take a few minutes and look where you're going… you'll get there a lot faster.

Before you find a web designer… or create a product… or waste any time and money on complicated software… start with the fundamentals.

1. Starting an Internet business means BUILDING it from the ground up and that takes some elbow grease

When you put in the effort, the rewards can be everything you've ever dreamed of. Everything you've heard about starting your own business online is true: you can earn more money, have more free time, and spend your days doing something you love (and getting paid for it!).

Don't believe anyone that tells you can just put up an "instant" website that will instantly make a fortune. The only profits there are the ones you give to the con artist who sold it to you.

There's no free ride.

But if you're willing to learn and you know where to look for information, you're already ahead of the crowd.

The truth is, there are more Internet business opportunities out there than any one person could possibly find, and some of them are perfect for YOU! You've got to be the one to find them!

2. Your online business only needs to give the people what they want

Here's the number one secret of Internet business: know what your customers want BEFORE you build your website.

I mean it! That one simple tip will save you more time and money than any other piece of advice. Don't think of the Internet as another place for you to sell widgets - it's so much more than that. (And it's already crowded with widget shops!)

Search engines have made it possible for almost anyone, anywhere, to find what they're looking for online… if it's there.

Before you commit yourself to a specific product or service, find out if people are looking for - and not finding - it. If people are searching for left-handed bowling balls, then give them left-handed bowling balls. But DON'T just open "Lefty's Bowling Site" without making sure there's a market!

Your goal is to find an underserved niche market and become the go-to guy before someone else does. And when you do that, you've got yourself a genuine Internet business!

3. Do it right the first time — with expert help

Experience is the best teacher, and that's the way I learned. IMC is built on the idea of trying something, learning from mistakes, and doing things better after every failure.

Butt you probably don't have the time to try, try again… and failure is expensive! That's why so much of what I do is trying to get people to learn from my mistakes instead of making their own.

It's essential to arm yourself with information and knowledge. You can read articles and blogs, join a discussion forum where experts share information, or get your hands on online marketing courses, videos, and guides that teach you what you need to know.

You're going to need to know the basics of website building, writing salescopy, and search engine optimization. Without a structured plan and a little help, that could take a while.

The good news: if you're willing to learn, you can find teaching tools and resources in every shape, size, and learning style. Whether you want everything you need in a book so you can learn at your own pace, or you'd prefer having a mentor looking over your shoulder every step of the way, it's up to you to choose the method that suits you best.

It can be a fun and rewarding experience. And when those rewards are sales, you'll be laughing all the way to the bank!

Imagine this: the sun goes down and your business logo and ad is projected on the surface of a full moon for all the dark half of the world to see! Though no one can promise that, the next best option is to have your ad floating over the heads of a huge gathering, in full view of each person present. That is the promise of aerial advertising, a unique method of getting information about a product before a select group of people. A company hires a firm to design and print the huge ad. Then a plane is hired to pull the ad over a populated outdoor event. Statistics show over half of those present will remember what the banner said.

Aerial advertising has proven effective just about anywhere an outside gathering of people may be found including during fairs, firework shows, concerts, ball games, rush hour traffic, parades, water shows, and races. Both national and local companies have used it to get more people to remember their company's name. It has also been used to present birthday wishes and even as a way to propose!

There are basically three different types of messages offered by aerial advertising companies. First, banners are long streamers with a message such as, "Visit Loretta's For Our Special Sale," or "Happy Birthday, Bob!" These can reach 100 feet or more in length. A second and more popular message is the flying billboard. This could be as large as 4000 square feet and often has the same content as a roadside billboard would have. The message is brief, informative, and catchy. Some contain websites and if the domain is easy to remember, people can learn more about the product after they get home. Third, some combine these two with a billboard followed by a trailer (short banner) that gives more information. For instance, a business may put its name and logo on the billboard followed by their address on the trailer.

Low flying single engine planes over a populated area might cause some to wonder about the danger. The present Federal Aviation Regulations require operators of aerial advertising to avoid flying directly over stadiums, beaches and such like. A minimum separation of distance is required. This puts the aircraft parallel to the waterline on the offshore side of the beach or directly outside the perimeter of arenas, stadiums, and racetracks over land. Even with these limits, the ads are still quite visible.

When companies consider the number of people reached, the reusable nature of the banner, and how memorable this way of spreading their message is, an increasing number are concluding that aerial banner advertising is the way to go.

About the Author:

But not all aerial advertising companies are the same. Some simply take your order and contract it to others. You would do well to stick with a banner towing company that has planes stationed around the US.

by Theo McLanahan

Customers are tremendously important to all business owners. Without customers, there would be no income and, subsequently, no business. Individuals that buy things from a company are afterwards more likely to return there to buy again.

It is a smart business move to take the time to build long lasting relationships between yourself and your customer. Creating lifetime customers will net you more profit, than constantly seeking out new one-time customers.

In order to gain loyal customers, you need to offer a quality product. Customers that find your product to be better than they originally expected will come back looking for more of the same. If you offer a product that is inferior to that available from other sources, however, customers will not see any reason to offer you their business again.

After ensuring that your product is of the highest quality, work to put your company's customer service on the same level. Respond quickly to customers, especially if they have contacted you with complaints. Customers don't care how busy you may be or what other responsibilities you have; they want to receive a timely reply and expect your undivided attention.

In an effort to keep loyal customers aware of your products and services, maintain contact with them on a regular basis. Distributing a monthly newsletter is one way to inform clients of special limited time offers and new items you may be offering. In this way customers that have forgotten to purchase more things from your business because of their own busy schedules will also be reminded to do so.

A great way to motivate repeat purchases from old customers is holding "customer only" sales. Taking their previous purchases into consideration, you may be able to offer some kind of gift or special deal that coincides with their specific needs.

Consider one example. Suppose your company sells day planners and you will soon be releasing a new time management audio. Make a list of which customers have previously bought planners and provide them with a brief report regarding how important time management is that also mentions your new audio. You could boost sales by offering these previous customers a special "pre-launch" price.

Establishing long term customers is by no means a short or simple process. It can be done, however, by showing them deep respect and sincere appreciation. Investing time in doing so will eventually help you make strong relationships with lifetime customers.

It is easy to start up an Adwords advertising campaign. However managing a successful Adwords campaign is quite another thing. In fact when you compare a successful Ad words campaign to one that is just running you are talking about a considerable difference in profits. A failing advertising campaign can cost you 100's of dollars, which you could easily have utilized for other things in your business.

How to prevent huge losses? The answer is straightforward, intense scrutiny and attention to every detail of your Adwords campaign. Initially you will need to do your keyword research and take time to select your keywords. Secondly take extra care when you bid. However the real key to success is remembering to micro-manage your campaigns.

To choose a keyword is not as easy as it looks. The aim of every keyword is to pull a certain quantity of general traffic but it must also be able to reach your specific market. Of course your ad must be able to produce sales for you, or you will find yourself seriously out of pocket.

The good news is that you will find many helpful tools and tutorials at the Google Adwords site. They will help you to select the best keywords for your Adwords campaign. Among other things you will find the best matching keywords, related ones and different varieties.

Many marketers do not know that pay per click marketing is really just like a large auction, with the person placing the highest bid winning the prize. The advertiser, will offer the best price for a keyword and be the highest bidder. In this case the prize is the best position, which will gain the most exposure.

It is common knowledge that searchers have short attention spans. Because of this you will need to create and ad that is simple to read, gets your message across and is in a premier position. If your ad is just one of many in the search results then you will see little or no results. However even if an ad draws a lot of traffic, it can still only bring in useless leads, which makes it equally ineffective. The main idea is to try to maintain a precise balance.

From the very beginning of your advertising campaign you will need to manage it carefully. An important detail to consider is sales conversions, you should be flexible and be able to make changes or delete an ad. It is also good to have software at your site to check which ad is pulling visitors and how many sales are being made. To be successful, always remember to monitor your ads in detail. In this way you will really see profits.

As you can see management is critical to the success of your Adwords campaign. You can find a lot of tools and help at the Adwords site. Tracking software is built into your campaign and you can find out the worth of every keyword with this. It will help you to know what to adjust if a campaign is not doing well.

Business writing is a profession where the goal is to produce a worthwhile goods that supports a particular idea, point of view or operation. Brilliant writing will start to show the reader the excellence of the products or opinion and why it is perfect for them. Examples of where business writing is used are for radio commercials, newsletters, world wide web sites, billboards and any written material used in promotional media.

A writer works in conjunction with an visual team to create a multimedia product that uses words, colours and imagery to endorse the product and appeal to the reader. The copywriter has accountability for the written subject of the piece and the visual director has accountability for the pictorial content of the product, as well as overlooking the final work itself. The most impressive material is produced when the writing and visual teams collaborate and collaborate in agreement.

Knowing how to write is an integral component of the marketing industry as it is responsible for the slogans that stay with us, demonstrating to us how an thought is necessary to hear, how a piece of merchandise would be necessary for us. Business writing is responsible for the content and, in this way, is close to a technical writer although a business writer strives to promote products or thoughts and not only to instruct the reader of it.

With the coming of the internet, new chances have happened for writers as they strive to endorse web pages, new products, new services and new thoughts through the internet. The internet has also made it simpler for copywriters to find and get in contact with potential employers that desire their know-how and to earn a wage from freelance business writing. There are many pages that are now concerned with keeping in touch copywriters with companies.

The web has also meant that business writers have been required to learn new know-how, such as SEO. SEO allows for a copywriter to ensure that their work can be found competently through the web. Using strategies such as strategic word placement and the repetition of certain keywords helps the product to be ranked highly by a search engine, an integral copywriting ability in today's net-savvy world.

To be an excellent copywriter, it is important to have superb communication skills. All business writers should have a have a varied vocabulary and superb word, spelling and grammar skills. It is also important to have some education in business writing and there are many colleges and businesses that specialize in educating you to be a business writing professional. Many of these colleges and companies offer online courses and there are many written materials that also offer guidance.

As a copywriter, you will find your talents in demand across the world and across thousands of industries. Not just with promotional agencies, business writers are in demand for all companies that have a product, service or thought to advertise. TV networks, radio shows, start-up businesses, e-companies, small businesses, multinational companies and everything in between have a desire for the advertising of their business and their goods. Many in the business writing business now work freelance for themselves and are employed on a contractual basis, allowing them to choose the projects they work on and the businesses they work for, all at times suitable to them.

Copywriters are behind some of the most well-known advertising campaigns in the world. It was famous business writer David Ogilvy that created the famous Dove soap slogan "only Dove is one-quarter moisturizing cream" and William Bernbach was a business writer who came up with the "think small" ad campaign for Volkswagen Beetle, a campaign known as one of the top publicity campaigns of the 20th century. Therefore copywriting has the ability to not only reach the reader but to create a lasting impression on the world through the import of their abilities.

by Carl Pruitt

Before you start selling information products online, you need to make sure that you are targeting a market niche that will be profitable in both the short and long-term. The term niche simply refers to your target audience.

Some niches, you will quickly discover, are not as profitable as others. You need to put a lot of thought into whether your target audience is both willing and able to spend money for the solutions to their problems.

For example, golf is a very expensive sport. Typically golfers have money to burn if they believe you can help them improve their score or beat out their friends (competition) on the links.

But another niche, such as single moms on a budget may not be willing to pay $67 for an information product showing them how to get organized. Sometimes it depends on the solution itself. Targeting this same niche of single moms, you may find some are willing to pay $47 for an eBook that shows them how to make more money working from home than they do in their regular 9-5 jobs.

One good place to start is with online groups and forums. You can go to iVillage or Yahoo, Google groups, or Boardtracker and see what kind of groups garner the most posts. Men's groups such as AskMen might give you insight into what kind of information products this portion of the population might need that help you generate a handsome profit.

You aren't just looking for any broad group of people to cater to. You need to find those groups who have a lot of problems and are looking for easy solutions. In the beginning, you may want to build a series of products that all focus on one niche. This allows you to benefit from your own increased knowledge, as well as potential repeat customers.

Sometimes, you'll find one large niche and then realize you need to build your information product line around a more targeted, narrow niche of people. For instance, parents in general have many problems you could address, such as raising smart kids, dealing with discipline, and saving money.

You can then narrow things down further to moms or dads and it is no stretch to dig even deeper and focus on something like parents of multiples or parents raising kids with physical ailments. Remember - your information product isn't really a product at all. It's a solution, and it needs to be marketed as something that will improve lives

by Gunnar Berglund

The newest most powerful way of making money in the business world now is niche marketing. This is true for the Internet as well as conventional stores now. It may be truer for the Internet than for regular stores now.

The fact that there is enormous competition in the industries of every markets industry and businesses is acknowledged with niche marketing. Businesses such as Target or Wal-mart and other enormous businesses are what are they are trying to compete with. When entering into competition with them a new business is likely to fail. This is truest when there is not a significant amount of start up capital. When starting a small business chances are you can not afford to undersell the competition for a smaller profit. Larger businesses have the ability to do this do to the fact that they have a much larger amount of merchandise on hand.

With niche marketing, you are able to leverage something that not many other people in the business world have: your specialized knowledge or interest in a focused field. Niche marketing, just as the name implies, allows you to fit yourself into a certain niche. With this, you are aiming to target only those people who have an interest or a need in the products within your own niche.

Here you will find your competition greatly reduced over what it would otherwise be, because: there aren't nearly as many competitors within a narrow niche as there are across the broad range of an industry; those competitors that are there have to compete on quality and uniqueness, since they are all knowledgeable and being in the same business need to make similar profit margins; and, people who are shopping within a niche generally care less about price and more about quality, service, and "finding something a little different".

There are more and more success stories of people who start up or get involved with affiliate marketing niche businesses on the Internet. The Internet provides the fastest, broadest, cheapest way of reaching the broadest possible swath of prospects and customers within a given niche. What's more, it costs very little money to create and maintain a niche marketing website, or even a handful of them.

With affiliate marketing programs, you are able to earn commissions on the sales of the products that are sold from your website. You can own the business or you can pay people a part of the sales that they make for your business. You can also be an affiliate yourself and sell something that someone has created. This is easy to do. It's as simple as getting people to the company or business website where they can buy niche products. In this case, you will earn commissions.

That important thing about niche business is that the product you offer must be one that interests you. If you find something very interesting, you are much more likely to learn everything you can about it which allows you to almost become an expert. With the niche marketing game, being able to have a level of expertise that is able to set you apart gives you a great advantage. If something interests you and you have a lot of enthusiasm for it, your prospects will be able to pick up on this energy and will want to buy from you.

The niche being extremely focused and unique is another important factor. It could offer pre-paid legal services for next to nothing, tell how to get the perfect tobacco grown at home or making of the kind discounted greeting cards and mailing services. It has to be as unique as it can be and you have to have an interest in it no matter what it is.

When done correctly, niche marketing can bring in a lot of money and give you a lot more freedom and satisfaction than what you'll get from a job.
